Job Description:

·         Provide tactical and strategic oversight for planning, design and implementation of the non-production and production infrastructure for the ecommerce platform based on business SLA's and objectives

·         Collaboration with technical and business teams to establishes proper controls, procedures, governance model and enables proper tools/methods to insure success and future flexibility of the infrastructure.

·         Adept hands on experience with a wide variety of infrastructure solutions supporting a high volume ecommerce environment; including designing, configuration, Capacity Planning, clustering and  system Monitoring solutions

·         Ability to evaluate vendors from a infrastructure perspective and guide business and IT senior leadership to  make informed decisions

·         Develop RFP requirements and drive the selection of various infrastructure products and services including data centers, service monitoring solutions

·         Experienced in working with platform architect team to design, build and scale ecommerce infrastructure, data center &  Disaster Recovery planning

·         Any infrastructure and capacity planning experience supporting a highly trafficked ecommerce site will be a huge plus.

·         Experience  hands-on with VMware virtualization and Linux skills.

·         Define and maintain the future state infrastructure architecture blueprint and roadmap

·         Establish and document the current IT infrastructure portfolio, standards, and procedures according to industry best practices

·         Partner with key stakeholders in IT to advance toward the established future vision blueprint
