Position Title – Location: Sr Business Analyst – Tallahassee, FL.
Start Date: ASAP
Estimated Duration: 6 months with possible extension
Type: Temporary Project
Remote or Onsite: On location at the Client's site 100% of the time. No telecommuting or remote work.
Description: Our Client, a governmental institution, is looking for a Business Analyst.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Conduct gap analyses of multiple department database systems and document the findings;
- Produce matrices of data system needs to successfully integrate the specified data systems;
- Provide weekly status reports, via email, detailing the progress of deliverables;
- Consult with Program and IT staff, as dictated by the project's needs, to provide detailed information regarding software defects, functional requirements and design of application enhancements.
Requirements:
- Experience performing business process analysis (5+ years);
- Experience gathering and documenting user requirements (5+ years);
- Experience communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences;
- Experience performing the translation of business process requirements into technical requirements;
- Experience producing business and/or technical documentation related to the requirements, specifications, traceability matrices, designing, processing and data flow diagrams, data migration, testing, and training;
- Experience validating user requirements, providing written test plans, verify product functionality and coordinating testing activities.
