| Knowledge Needed | · Knowledge of modern test methodologies. · · Knowledge in concepts of databases, Windows based applications and browser based applications. · Understanding of quality assurance processes and methods used in software development. · An understanding of how to practice software testing administration and execution according to standard software development life cycles in a team environment. · Knowledge of product management concepts and how software products are positioned and developed. · Knowledge of FDA regulated product development environments, to have credibility with user representatives and be able to work effectively with them in a team based environment. |

| Responsibilities | · Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle. · Design and implement test scenarios and cases, with a focus on features, functions and ad-hoc/exploratory testing. · Create and implement test plans and test scripts. · Design and development of testing tools to support test automation. · Lead all technical testing efforts including functional, ad-hoc/exploratory and performance testing. · Provide development support of software products by investigating and recreating test defects. · Work with multiple interfaces and be familiar with standard web and Windows based architectures. · Train and mentor other analysts in testing methodology and the software lifecycle. · Create software testing reports that include test execution progress/schedules, requirements traceability/coverage and defect tracking. · Assist in the implementation of SQA standards. |
