Location: St. Louis, MO

Duration: 3+ month's extendable contract

Hourly Rate: $40/hr on C2C

Skills Needed:

·         5+ years of experience in SQL Server database administration.

·         Experience in SQL Server 2005 & 2008 administration

·          MUST have experince managing SQL Server 2005/2008 in a Clustered Environment

·          Expertise with Performance Tuning & Query optimization

·          Any experince with NetApp SnapManager for SQL Server a "strong" plus.

·         Competency in backup & recovery procedure

·         Understand and ability to write moderately complex queries.

·         Healthcare Industry Experience is a big plus but not needed

·         Experience with creation and daily operations/support of production and development databases.

·         Installs and upgrades database and third party application products. 

·         Perform, recommend and keep current on security analysis, vulnerabilities and threats to protect data.

·         Ability to write specific ad-hoc data queries or reports as requested and assists users in optimizing queries or providing guidance on solving complex data queries.
