San Jose, CA

Long Term

 

This role is for a Network Engineer with our customer, responsible for the support of the software VPN, Cisco Virtual Office, Office Extend Access Point. Day to day responsibilities include technical troubleshooting and design validation.

Skill set

•    Working knowledge of Remote Access

•    2-3 Years VPN experience (S/W and H/W)
•    Strong experience with VPN Tunnel issues
•    Experience with QoS
•    Routing experience and understanding
•    TCP/IP analysis
•    IP sub netting
•    LAN/WAN troubleshooting
•    Command line experience
•    CCNA required, CCNP preferred
•    Scripting a plus
•    Good with clients and Executive staff
•    UC wireless/Video experience required. Tandberg or Telepresence preferred
