DETAILS:

Position: Sr. Automation Tester

Location: Johns Creek, GA

Duration: 1+ year

Interview: F2F

 

Job Description:

·        With minimal direction writes scripts and executes test cases during functional/system/integration testing.

·        With minimal direction writes manual and automation scripts and executes test cases during functional/system/integration testing.

·        Will analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed test cases/scripts.

·        Will write detailed defect reports and work with developers and other project team members to resolution.

·        Will ensure compliance with all Client's Agile/Lean development processes.

 

The candidate must possess:

·        Strong analytical and problem solving skills

·        Strong oral and written communication skills

·        The ability to work independently with limited direction

·        The ability to adapt to a wide variety of situations

·        Demonstrated experience in Test Driven Development and/or Behavior Driven Development techniques

·        Ability to convert Business and System requirements into positive and negative test cases

 

Technical skill set needed:

·        Minimum 5 to 7 years' experience in testing

·        Hands on experience with test automation in Continuous Integration Testing (Selenium in JUnit frame work preferred)

·        Experience in automating web services (i.e. SOAPUI, Jmeter etc.)

·        Experience with open source tools (i.e. Selenium, Waitr, Jmeter, etc)

·        Experience with backend automation testing (preferred experience with DB2 and Oracle )

 

DESIRED SKILLS:

·        Test-driven development(TDD) and/or Behavior Driven development (BDD) experience in Agile is desirable

·        Experience with Continuous Integration tools is a plus but not required (Jenkins, Maven, Ant, etc)

·        Experience in mainframe and client server testing

·        Experience in testing in batch and interactive mainframe environments

·        Experience in a Java/Messaging environment will be a plus

·        Experience with Manhattan Associates WMOS is preferred but not required.
