Detailed knowledge and experience with:
• Advising project teams and serving as chief data architect in the design & development of new solutions
• Designing architectural frameworks for managing data and metadata including: logical & physical data design, data modeling, integration & synchronization of data across systems, data management tools, optimization of data storage & retrieval goals (business & technical), data availability/usability/ security, and data & metadata catalogs.
• Driving enterprise information and data architecture strategies and policies for the entire enterprise
• Defining the appropriate use of data management tools, principles, and methods related to system development and operation
• Leading proof of concept development to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy
• Training and mentoring Data Architecture staff
The technology is Oracle and SQL Server with Cognos reporting tool.
