Position : PL/SQL Developer

Location: Jacksonville,FL

Duration: 6 months

 

 **Candidates must be application developers, not DBA's, or ETL experts.**

 

Job Description:

 

·         Responsible for the detail design documentation, development, unit testing and maintenance of internally developed billing/finance applications

·         Write code for system designs that span platforms

·         Code to and create Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)

·         Write code for enhancing existing programs or developing new programs

·         Write detailed technical specifications for subsystems and identify integration points

·         Perform unit testing and debugging and set test conditions based on code specifications

·         Supports application throughout the Product Development life cycle

·         Coordinate with areas for integration architecture solutions and determine the integration approach

 

Required Skills:

 

·         Strong experience programming using PL/SQL, Oracle 10G

·         Working knowledge of ClearCase

·         Knowledge of System Development Life Cycle, product development methodologies, database methodologies and system integration

·         Understanding of coding design and documentation protocol as well as unit testing, change management and release procedures

·         PC Skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio)

·         Demonstrated experience using PL/SQL (packages, functions, procedures, transactions and triggers)

·         Demonstrated experience using debugging tools

·         Demonstrated experience using versioning tools (i.e., Clearcase)

·         Experience with RUP methodology and Rational tools

·         Experience using TOAD, SQL Navigator preferred

·         Experience with handling high volume/transaction & OLTP systems

·         Experienced in problem solving, production issue handling and problem analysis

·         Experienced in data modeling and system design

 

Highly Preferred Experience/Knowledge:

 

·         Healthcare industry knowledge preferred

·         Experience with Finance/Accounting principles and Premium Billing preferred

·         Performance Tuning
