You will develop software and scripts to improve library generation flows and consistency across the product life-cycle.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Develop Simulation and Synthesis models in VHDL and Verilog, including for complex IPs
  • Explore opportunities to improve product performance: Matlab/Simulink, DSP flows, mixed-mode simulations
  • Develop software and scripts to automate library generation, model verification, and other FPGA performance tasks
  • Participate to the generation of timing and power models for Actel's internal tools
  • Devise and implement a methodology that guarantees model consistency throughout the FPGA device development cycle, from inception and concept exploration to development and product deployment
  • Develop test designs in VHDL and Verilog, test benches, and test scripts
  • Develop, maintain & support infrastructures for CAE test case development, execution, analysis and reporting. Routinely extend test suites to include new advanced features and technologies
