Job Description:
6 Months Contract
Conducting P.T. parades, Scout drills, Fire drills and Fire fighting Training to the Firefighters as well as the port employees.
Conducting Daily Took Box Talk for workers On- shore & Off – shore activity of Pipeline construction.
Providing induction training for workers as well as staffs.
Issue of safety work permit through inspection at site for hazardous jobs and ensuring safe working procedure, at various process and storage areas containing highly flammable and toxic liquids.
Issuing confined space entry and work permits in storage tanks and ship holds, etc.
Ensuring proper working of Fire fighting system (fixed and mobile), Safety system and carrying out maintenance (routine and preventive) of the same.
Maintaining and handling of fire vehicles along with fire staff (25 nos.) for any emergency.
To attend each and every emergency in or out side the port area upto 100kms. round clock
Impart safety training to company and contract workers.
Ensuring Safety norms followed by all worker or not in Oil & Gas process area like O.N.G.C., Tata Power, RPL, Cairn Energy, G.S.P.L., N.T.P.C. etc..
Monitoring the safety related activities and investigation and analysis in case of accidents/incident.
Compiling/updating information of accidents occurred for immediate reference.
Attending departmental safety committee meetings.
Malignance of Breathing Apparatus sets by arranging quarterly service
Conducting the safety training programmes for management staff & supervisors.
Induction training to new entrants irrespective of the category. Counseling Company's / Contractor's workers for using PPE's.
Counter check on the issue of Personal Protective Equipments and thereby inventory control.
Preparing of Weekly / Monthly / Annually Reports.
Prepared Training modules and training presentation.
Updating of On-site and Off-site Emergency plan and conducting mock drills.
Organizing various activities for celebration of Fire Day and Safety Week.
Counter checking of fixed fire-fighting system like Hydrant system, sprinkler system, Foam pourer system and Portable fire extinguishers.
Guiding the fire fighting squad during fire fighting operation.
Environment pollution controlling at construction site, Oil & Gas Terminal, On- shore as well as Off – Shore.
Preparation of HSE Procedures as per client requirements for the project work and implemented at site.
Carried out HAZID, HAZOP and Risk Assessment.
Conducting internal HSE audit with respect to ISO 14001, OSHAS – 18001 and internal HSE procedures.
Maintaining record of the above activities.
