Required Skills:
Cisco Routing & Switching - Senior (3-5 years).
WAN MPLS - Senior (3-5 years).
WAN Accellarator - Senior (3-5 years).
Strong Technical Troubleshooting Skills - Intermediate (1-3 years).
Cisco CCNA & CCNP - Senior (3-5 years).
Network Sniffer troubleshooting - Senior (3-5 years).
Excellent communication skills - Intermediate (1-3 years).
Highly motivated and team oriented - Intermediate (1-3 years).
 
Description:
This position will be involved in the installation and operation of a companywide Enterprise Data Network. Parallel efforts will be focused on the build, installation and maintenance of data infrastructure throughout the company. This position will support the daily data operations and work within a team to support ongoing network growth.
 
This position will support all related Operations activities and efforts to maintain the 99.9% network availability. Support, document and maintain equipment in NDC's and IDF's for business connectivity. Install and support infrastructure for server growth, wireless technologies and wired connections. Will address and execute Network requests, provide backfill to the Operations team during large builds/projects as well as other related operational activities.
Data operations team, supporting the Enterprise Data network. This person will take direction and report directly to the Enterprise team lead. This position will be located in Maryland, but will provide support for all of our clients domestic and international sites. This person will be required to carry and respond to a paging device, with some on-call duties. Some hours will be scheduled off hours to support specific requirements as defined by project lead. Daily tasks to include operation and site support, maintenance reloads and support of scheduled power outages and site specific activities. Will be responsible for coordination of network moves, adds and changes as defined by project lead. Additional tasks include documentation of all changes, upgrades and new site infrastructure.
