Job Description

JD for PKI Administrator:The PKI Administrator will be involved in the implementation, maintenance and support of Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) services. The position will involve the maintenance of complete digital certificate lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• The PKI Administrator will interact with various engineering and corporate IT teams to maintain services and troubleshoot service issues.

• Administer the PKI certificate lifecycle

• Will be responsible for issuing of new digital certificates for the users

• Will be responsible for key recovery and revocation

• Troubleshoot the day to day issues related to digital certificates

• Implement all changes to the PKI infrastructure in accordance with standard procedures and change control policies and procedures

• Provide documentation and training to PKI extended teams (Services Desk, Desktop Services, Desktop Engineering, Directory Services, and Messaging)

• Maintain and update all the documents related to the PKI infrastructure

Desired Skills and Experience:

• 3-5 Years of relevant experience on Digital Certificates and PKI

• Strong knowledge of PKI concepts, patterns and practices

• Hands-on familiarity with RSA Digital Certificate Manager and related components

• Working knowledge of Active Directory

• Experience with certificate-enabled applications, such as SSL/TLS, S/MIME, authentication, EFS, 802.1X, Code Signing, etc.

• General understanding of cryptographic concepts: symmetric/asymmetric cryptography, secure hash, digital signatures

• Knowledge of Linux, Windows – C++

• Strong knowledge of Certificate Policies, Certification Practice Statement

• Strong knowledge of PGP encryption

• Storage (e.g. Keychain)

• Client Authentication

• Signing

• Revocation (CRL & OCSP)

• Validity checking – RSA Validation Manager

• Certificate Templates

• Autoenrollment – RSA Registration Manager

• Manual enrollment

• User and machine certs
