Job Description:

CONTEXT

Major financial institution in Chicago is looking for a Software Developer with programming experience in C# and SQL.

This person will need to have excellent teamwork skills as this person will be expected to work with a diverse team of full time employees and consultants.

This is a 6-month opportunity with the possibility for extensions, and will report to the Director of Risk Systems Development.

QUALIFICATION SUMMARY

1. Strong communication skills - Consensus building and collaboration skills will be important to succeed in this role.

2. Expertise - in business systems development, risk management/financial systems is a strong plus.

3. Experience - programming in C#, .NET and SQL

ADDITIONAL JOB DETAILS (RESPONSIBILITIES ETC)

1.Expertise in building high performance complex systems.

2.DB design skills, good understanding of SQL Server performance

3.Strong analytical skills.

NICE-TO-HAVES

1.Experience in C++ and IBM Symphony platform

2.Financial math knowledge

3.Mentoring and Documentation skills
