Job Title: UI Developer

Location: Austin,Texas

Duration: 6 Months

Rate: DOE

 

Job Description:

Transform the UI of our existing commerce sites to a responsive design supporting many device footprints

Lead the architecture of our user interface and provide the standards by which others create UI code

Work closely with site developers in a collaborative environment following an agile methodology

Design, develop, and test both the client and server side of modern web applications

Participate in peer architectural and code reviews to improve the overall quality of our solutions

Be part of a team of world class engineers having a large impact in our field

 

Experience, Skills, Academic:

 

We realize that everyone’s situation is unique, however our general guidelines for requirements include…

 

In depth knowledge of HTML 5 and previous versions

Proficient in CSS 3 and how it can be applied to responsive layouts and mobile views. Knowledge of CSS Frameworks, like Bootstrap or Foundation.

Experience in LESS, SASS, or other dynamic style sheet pre-compiler language a plus.

Experience with JQuery is a plus.

Experience applying UI best practices and concepts to UI design implementation.

Experience implementing robust style guides and interaction design documentation.

Experience with JavaScript MV* frameworks such as AngularJS, Backbone, or Knockout is a plus

E-commerce solutions development experience is a plus
