DETAILS:

Position: Project Manager

Location: Burbank, CA

Duration: 1.5 months (with probability of extension)

Interview: Telephonic

 

The primary role of the candidate will be: Project Management, Budget/Finance

 

Requirements:

• BA/BS
• PMP preferred
• Minimum 5 years IT infrastructure, with 3+ years managing projects.
• Proven track record successfully managing IT projects in a complex, diverse and challenging business and IT environment.
• Proven track record in project resource management, including mentoring and coaching, performance management and project financial management.
• Entertainment industry experience preferred.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manages all aspects of the project, including budget, timeline, scope, quality and customer expectations.
• Develops, monitors and updates project plans.
• Identifies, clarifies and manages project issues.
• Selects and manages project resources, both internal and external, including other project managers.
• Monitors project performance, including deliverables, resource effectiveness and quality.
• Ensures all infrastructure standards are followed.
• Communicates project plans, status and issues on a regular basis to project team members and management.
• Chairs regular project team meetings, schedules and attends Steering Committee Meetings
• Obtains sign-offs on all project deliverables and ensures they are maintained in project repository.
• Works with core IT functions (e.g. architecture, infrastructure, and security) and managers of related project initiatives to ensure proper project integration.
• Adheres to Project Office disciplines and methodologies.
• Utilizes project management tools and best practices aimed at increasing project success.
• Leads process change initiatives that may require business process re-engineering.
• Performs project interventions to get troubled projects back on track, or shut them down.
