Title              :  Solution Architect or Storage Architect
Location       :  Middletown, NJ
Duration      :  1 Months contract

MUST:
5+ years Storage Engineer/Administrator
NAS experience (either Celerra NS or NX)
NFS/CIFS file systems
Raid Configuration (any version)
Disaster Recovery

PLUS:
EMC Certification
EMC ControlCenter (ECC) experience

D2D:
Configure Celerra.
Configure RAID 5 storage for the first four or five drives on a single DAE with
Fibre Channel, SATA, or SAS components, depending on the Celerra configuration
being installed.
Conduct a basic product Functional Overview to familiarize the Customer with
the implemented Celerra, demonstrating the normal operations as installed in the
Customer's environment.
Assist Customer Storage Manager in storage provisioning and availability at the
in-scope Customer site(s).
Provision storage based on standardized procedures detailed in the
Customer-supplied Operational Run Book.
Be responsible for the configuration and layout of the storage infrastructure.
Participate in the design and operational execution of the Customer's storage
disaster recovery process as required.
Perform necessary storage infrastructure support in accordance with EMC change
management policies.
Provide analysis of environment and best practice knowledge transfer.
Generate standard operations reports using Customer supplied tools, such as

EMC ControlCenter®.
Recommend changes to procedures intended to enhance operational
optimization.
