Oracle DBA
Duration: 10 month contract

Location: Bedford, MA.
Rate is $50-54/hr corp to corp

The DBA will be responsible for maintaining and expanding the existing 24 x 7 production database environments.
The DBA will participate effectively in an environment to maintain high level of Database availability and redundancy, capacity planning, security and performance..

Job Requirements:
. Must have experience as an Oracle DBA (preferably Solaris/Linux environment)
. Must have experience with all infrastructure DBA aspects, including Database Installation, Database Configuration/upgrades, Database Fine-tuning, database backups/restores etc.
. Must have Technical DBA skills - RAC, Dataguard, Oracle 10g, Oracle 11g, RMAN, Grid control
. Must have good knowledge in SQL tuning
. Must have Unix/PLSQL scripting (Bash, Ksh etc.)
. Experience with Oracle streams/GoldenGate would be a plus
. Experience in Storage technologies would be a plus
. Excellent communication skills
. Willing to work non-conventional hours according to needs
. Willing to travel for training purposes
