Job Title : Mid Level Web Developer,
location :  Denver, CO
Duration : 6+ Months Contract.
 
Job Description :
Our client is seeking a Mid-Level Web Developer with a broad range of experience (generalist) to backfill for an existing full-time employee so that developer can work on high priority tasks. The selected candidate will contribute to an existing team and on-going projects. This includes contributing to developing estimates for RFPs and projects. Part of the time will also be spent on maintaining and supporting existing applications.
The selected candidates will provide:
Service Level Agreement (SLA) support to existing applications
Proactive site support and maintenance
Resolve assigned tickets
Log file inspection
Site monitoring
Contribute to on-going project teams to include possible implementation efforts
Provide work estimates for projects and/or RFPs
Coding and Development of system solutions for projects and enhancements 
 
Requirements Required Skill Set :

3 years experience Web front end developer
Content Management System experience  can be anything (Interwoven, Drupal, Joomla, WordPress, etc)  just understanding the constraints and architecture of a CMS is exceedingly beneficial
Classic ASP
ASP.NET C# 3.5,
XHTML with a solid understanding of where HTML5 is going
CSS2 with a solid understanding of where CSS3 is going
JavaScript with solid experience using frameworks such as jQuery
Solid public-facing web development experience:
Cross-browser/platform expertise
Understanding of web performance, optimization and scalability
Understanding of Search Engine Optimization
Hardware/Software to be used:
Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS)
Microsoft Office 2007
Visual Studio 2008/2010
PlanView
ITSM
 
Nice to have:
C# 4.
Understanding of where CSS3 is going.
Understanding of where HTML 5 is going.
The more CMS experience the better.
Understanding of ITIL.
 
Deliverables:
SLA support.
Work assigned tickets to Resolved status.
Proactive site support and maintenance requests.
Log file inspection.
Site monitoring.
Tuning and optimization of the site.
Coding and development of system solutions for assigned tasks.
RFP response preparations.
Specific and Detailed Estimation efforts.
Customer coordination and requirements gathering.
Contribute to team effort in project implementations.
