Job Description:
Controllers support one or more practice units by assisting with account management activities on large consulting engagements from project initiation to closeout.
Focus includes working with Practice and Engagement Leaders to support: Opportunity and Sales Tracking, Staffing and Scheduling, and Project Budget and Financial Tracking.
Also included are activities that facilitate coordination between Infosys Consulting (IC) and the parent company, Infosys Technologies Limited (ITL).
Work with IC Engagement Leader and ITL Account Team to capture and enter opportunity information into the system of record, including projected project financial data, expected engagement start and end dates, opportunity qualification data, pursuit team member names, etc.
Assist with collecting and analyzing forecasts for weekly best estimate meeting.
Work with Engagement Leader and IC Staffing Coordinator to provide staffing assistance on engagements utilizing the automated resource management system.
Create and administer new team member orientation.
Track Engagement Feedback Forms of team members for Practice / Engagement Leaders.
Support staff in keeping availability calendars up to date in the resource management system.
Help create and support Engagement Leader with subcontractor procurement process.
Develop and maintain project budget with the Engagement Leader.
Support Engagement Leaders with the process of creating the Engagement Letter.
Follow through with client Purchase Order (PO) process and verify PO number is captured in contract information.
Ensure project codes are generated, entered into the system of record, and distributed to the engagement team members.
Track actual hours and expenses against plan and review discrepancies with Engagement Leader.
Assist with the creation of invoices for project-related fees and expenses, and create invoice summary for clients.
Submit Invoice Summary to ITL and confirm revenue allocation.
Reconcile previous invoices to client with actual fees and expenses
Generate periodic forecasting and financial analysis:
Prepare project metrics reports for internal reporting.
Track the profitability of projects.
Support logistics for account team: Locate and negotiate arrangements for apartments/housing.
Assist with tracking team progress, managing major milestones, and establishing project standards.
Arrange account team social events.
Assist with maintaining an online project library of all relevant materials for assigned project(s).
Manage Project Closeout processes.
Assist with year-end performance review process.
Assist with account planning and internal meetings:
Schedule meeting.
Assist with preparation and distribution of materials.
Plan events surrounding meeting.
Desired Profile:
Demonstrated analytical ability
Experience drawing relevant conclusions from analysis, summarizing results, and producing management reports
Expertise in the entire Microsoft Office Suite (including Excel, Access, and Outlook)
Strong oral and written and communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work effectively as a member of a team or independently
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple concurrent assignments
Demonstrated ability to "think outside the box" while identifying problems and developing creative solutions
